Sunday Mornings at 10:00 a.m.
Adams-Weaver Class (Parlor). This Bible study is guided by "The Present Word" from PC(USA) Headquarters. All ages are welcome!
Foundations (Room 221). NEW SUNDAY MORNING STUDY: the Foundations Sunday school class will be studying Calvin’s Institutes. All are welcome to come join us in room 221 (Session Room). This will not be a lecture on the Institutes (that would be boring!) It will be an open discussion on what Calvin said, how relevant the Institutes are today, and how they can apply to our life, church and society. For information: email jcmont@mindspring.com. We are a lively discussion –oriented class. You do not need to come every week in order to enjoy the material and drop-ins are welcome at any time!
Seekers (Room 223). We study a complete book of the Bible in-depth with active class participation. We will continue to study The Gospel of Luke.
Wrestlers (Room 226). This fall we will study "Troublesome Bible Passages". We sometimes run across passages that are difficult to understand and put into practice, but are significant to Christian growth and discipleship. Please join us as we tackle Scriptures not normally studied from a discipleship viewpoint.
Faith Builders (Room 222). Currently, we are utilizing the Serendipity "Life Connections Series" for our lessons. There are 13 sessions per each study; however, we often spend two weeks on 1 topic so each series usually lasts 4 to 5 months. Upon completion of this study, we will continue to use the Life Connection Series for our topics and study format. Details of which can be found on their website, www.serendipityhouse.com. Anyone is welcome to attend the class and it is not necessary to wait for a new study series to begin. Our main focus is to study the Bible for God's direction on the topics we discuss. Group interaction and bonding has also become common place in the class as everyone has an experience to share that is beneficial to all and applicable to the topics studied.
