Solace for the Children

Solace for Children is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization of volunteers committed to demonstrating God’s love by providing medical and dental care to children in need. While it helps local children with special medical needs, the group is best known for its Summer Hosting Program. Children from impoverished nations come to the U.S. and live with host families for 6 weeks during the summer. During his or her stay, each child receives a medical examination, as well as dental and optical exams. Follow-up treatment is provided as needed. Local medical professionals donate their time and resources to treat these special children.
